My favorite part of making handbags is being able to personalize each bag to the owner's taste. What's better than having a bag in the perfect fabric to match your favorite dress or just express your personality?
If you have particular theme you are crazy about (like Mary Engelbreit or Winnie the Pooh, for example) and would like me to hunt down the fabric for your perfect bag, please e-mail me and I'm happy to discuss the endless possibilities. If you have fabric at home, or would like to shop for your own fabric, you may send it to me. I will supply handles, closures, interfacing lining and thread. However, if you have a special pair of handles or a certain button closure you would like me to use, you may send it with your fabric. Below are the guidelines for what I need:
* The above fabric measurement is for a handbag with only one pattern on the outside. If you would like a bag with a separate accent fabric at the bottom (such as the bags you see on my collections page), please modify the fabric measurement to 1/2 yd. for the top fabric and one 10"x15" piece of scrap fabric for the lower accent piece.
The cost for a special order bag varies, depending on how much you supply and how much I need to shop for myself. Please call or e-mail me to discuss your special order handbag.
