Katherine Diaz, founder and designer of KD Handbags, has always had a passion for handbags and purses. She thought it would be fun to explore different fabrics and patterns, and once she crafted her first bag, she fell in love with the creation and designing process. She began giving her creations to family and friends, who encouraged her to sell them at craft shows, in boutiques and online.

Katherine has been married to Nicolas for six years, and together they have four children.
